Our first night in Flagstaff we drove out of town about 10 miles to see what the sky looked like. I have seen countless photos from out west because the positioning of the mountains and cities is the perfect spot for dark Sky stargazing. It was a crisp late summer morning in Virginia when we set out for Rohobeth Beach on the east coast. We packed the car with a cooler and headed out on the road with a couple of our best friends from college.
