Jennie + Ryan's Wedding Day

A little church a top a hill sits overlooking the small town of Shelbyville, TN in the distance below. A hazy, misty sky and rolling hills were the back drop for Jennie + Ryan’s beautiful wedding day.

The morning may have began with dreary & rainy skies, but after a quick trip & search to find clear umbrellas, the skies cleared and let a little light shine down for their special day.

Jennie & Ryan's love for one another in Christ was apparent not only during the ceremony but throughout the day. A few of my favorite parts were their first look, the tying a cord of 3 strands unity ceremony and their first dance.

Jennie incorporated so many little details into her accessories and one of the sweetest was hearing her talk about a pin of her grandfathers that was delicately placed in her bouquet. As she stated, “it was a God thing.”

They celebrated their union with a beautiful reception held at their church, surrounded by family and friends, and even had a sparkler exit to send them off to catch that last bit of sunlight right down the road with an old white washed barn and white fence as the perfect backdrop.

Below are a few more favorites from throughout the day.

We never needed the umbrellas, but I think their love is sealed with good luck and blessings since there was rain on their wedding day. I wish these two many years of happiness, blessings, and a beautiful journey through life together. ❤
